How To Test Pure Ghee At Home

test pure ghee - nestfy
Fig: Ghee

✨๐Ÿ‘‰ Home Remedies ✔:

1. Squeeze some ghee in your hand and then sniff. If the smell stops after a while, you will understand that there is adulteration in it. However, it is not known what is mixed in the ghee.

2. Take 1 teaspoon of ghee on the palm of the hand and if it starts melting on its own, it is pure. Pure ghee usually melts at body temperature.

3. Keep heating with a teaspoon of ghee. If it melts quickly and turns brown, then it is pure. Pure ghee melts in a few seconds. If adulterated, it takes a long time to melt.

✨๐Ÿ‘‰ Simple experimental method ✔:

✔ Take a small amount of pure ghee in a test tube and mix it with the same amount of concentrated hydrochloric acid and a pinch of sugar and leave it for 5 minutes.

✔ You will then see a mixture of dark red hydrogenate oil and vegetable ghee deposited as adulterants on the bottom of the test tube.

✔ If the color of the mixture does not change, it should be considered that there is no impurity in it.
